Planning Applications
If you plan to build an extension, a new build or make external alterations to your property and your proposals do not fall within ‘Permitted Development’ then you will need Planning Permission.
THD provide a full Planning Application service. This includes an initial consultation with you to gain an understanding of your project requirements.
Following this we will carry out a dimensional survey of your property and produce scheme drawings of the proposals. Only once you are satisfied with the drawings we will then complete the planning application and act as agent on behalf of you throughout the planning stage until Permission is hopefully granted.
Building Regulations
The majority of construction works will require Building Regulation Approval. THD will provide detailed drawings and specifications of how to build the proposed project and through close cooperation with our partner Approved Inspectors, will ensure that the works are carried out fully in accordance with all current Building Regulations. If required, we can also provide project management support to our clients during the constructions phase to ensure that they remain confident their requirements are being met by the construction team
Civil and Structural Engineering
Our sister companies; The Home Engineers Ltd and JC-Consulting Ltd provide us with Civil and Structural Engineering design support to ensure that our proposals always deliver the most cost effective and efficient solution to our clients design requirements. These works can range from the design of a steel beam over a new structural opening to the provision of a full civil and structural design for a new build development.
