Ascent Healthcare Pharmacy

We were commissioned by Fairways Contracts Ltd to provide them with architectural support on this Design & Build project to take a design prepared by others through technical design and construction phases.

The pharmacy was to be constructed adjacent to an existing Sainsbury’s superstore, on a constrained site sandwiched between an existing car park and local distributor road. The large change in levels across the site required careful consideration on the construction methodology to ensure minimal restrictions to the car park and zero impact upon the road.

A limited palette of external materials was proposed to compliment the adjacent superstore, utilising glass, metal wall and roof cladding, aluminium windows and doors to create a simple, contemporary building.
